Job summary

Argus Media seeks an enthusiastic Events Operations Manager to drive logistics and delivery for a diverse portfolio of international events within the marketing team. The role requires a proactive, energetic individual who excels in fast-paced settings and is capable of leading on-site teams from setup to close.

You will conduct venue market research, negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and collaborate with Product & Regional Marketing to promote events while ensuring top-tier attendee

Qualifications

• 3–4 years’ experience in logistics coordination for events or conferences.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Process-driven and skilled problem-solver.
• Able to take ownership of projects and work in a team.
• Excellent coordination, organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience researching and analysing event data and recommending improvements.
• Excellent IT skills, including detailed work with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own logistics decisions: supplier choices and on-site team leadership from start to finish.
• Conduct market research and negotiate with venues and suppliers for forums and 3rd party events.
• Manage contracting through to signed contracts and liaise with legal to ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with Product & Regional Marketing on event promotions.
• Track event budgets and ensure cost control while maintaining attendee quality.
• Organise onsite signage, merch and printed materials.
• Report spend against metrics and flag deviations with recommendations.
• Build internal relationships to ensure commercial alignment and event coordination.
• Maintain client experience and brand exposure throughout event delivery.
