Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore seeks a Senior/Executive GIS & Technology Engineer to apply GIS, data, and technology to address real-world traffic and road operations challenges.

Join the Integrated Operations & Technology (IO&T) team to develop geospatial apps, dashboards, and automation, while collaborating across government agencies and industry partners to bring practical tech solutions into operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Hands-on GIS, data analytics or data engineering experience.
• Familiar with GIS platforms like ArcGIS / QGIS.
• Programming/scripting in Python, JavaScript, or R.
• SQL relational databases knowledge.
• Web/app development and APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to learn new technologies and adapt to project needs.
• Able to work independently and in teams; strong communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop geospatial applications and dashboards for operations and planning.
• Improve data workflows and operational processes with technology.
• Prototype digital solutions and explore AI or related technologies.
• Collaborate with LTA teams and external agencies to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Analyse geospatial data, integrate datasets, and support deployment of successful solutions.
