Job summary

LTA Land Transport Authority in Singapore seeks a Senior/Executive GIS & Technology Engineer to apply GIS, data and technology skills to traffic and road operations projects. You will work across GIS, data, app development, automation and emerging tech to deliver practical solutions for planning, operations and maintenance of the road network.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, develop dashboards and geospatial tools, and explore AI and cloud-enabled approaches.

Qualifications

Knowledge in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Geography, Geospatial Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
Hands-on experience in GIS, software development, data analytics, data engineering or related tech fields.
Familiar with GIS platforms and geodatabases, programming or scripting, SQL, or web/app development and APIs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to translate operational problems into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement GIS and technology-enabled solutions for planning, operations and maintenance of Singapore's road network.
Build geospatial applications, dashboards and automation to improve data workflows.
Prototype new digital solutions and explore AI/LLMs and other technologies.
Collaborate with government agencies, industry partners and academia on tech initiatives.
