Job summary

Land Transport Authority in Singapore seeks an Executive/ Engineer, Traffic Schemes Design & Development to guide planning and execution of traffic management strategies. The role requires strong design and traffic analysis skills and collaboration with developers, consultants and agencies from planning to implementation.

You will leverage data science and GIS tools such as QGIS to analyze traffic patterns and improve road safety and urban mobility for commuters, motorists and cyclists,

Qualifications

Experience in Traffic/Transportation Engineering and related fields.
Familiar with human factors, road design concepts, data analytics and statistics preferred.
Initiative, strong analytical and communication skills; ability to explain findings to non-technical audiences.
Class 3 driving licence preferred.
Knowledge of GIS/Traffic Microsimulation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Guide planning and execution of traffic management strategies.
Advise developers, consultants and agencies from initial planning to implementation and review.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs and develop innovative solutions.
Oversee execution of plans and assess effectiveness to ensure optimal traffic flow and safety.
