Job summary

Tencent Games' Level Infinite internal creative studio is seeking a Senior Video Artist to transform live games into premium marketing content. You will own capture and editorial across AAA titles, sourcing footage from marketing and debug builds and assembling edits that meet partner and audience expectations.

The role is technically hands-on, not managerial, requiring comfort with debug cameras, engine editors, and storytelling cinematography.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in video, capture or cinematic work in entertainment.
• Experience sourcing footage from marketing and debug builds.
• Strong editing proficiency and understanding of edit workflows.
• Artistic eye with cinematography knowledge.
• Technical aptitude with game engines and capture tools.
• Problem solving with buggy builds or incomplete assets.
• Clear, calm communication across distributed teams.
• Mature, collaborative and receptive to feedback.
• Deep affinity for video games, film, music, TV and creative industries.

Responsibilities

• Source captivating game capture content from marketing and debug builds.
• Collaborate with partner teams to specify and troubleshoot builds.
• Assemble footage into premium-quality sequences from concept to final cut.
• Create edits that realize the production's creative vision.
• Deliver versioning and platform-specific variants to deadlines.
• Utilise VFX alongside the CGI team where needed.
• Address issues with buggy or non-standardised builds creatively.
• Serve as technical contact for capture pipelines and tooling.
• Document capture setups and build requirements for knowledge base.
• Collaborate with Production, Head of Art and ICC leadership.
