Job summary

Tencent Games, a leading global platform for game development and publishing, seeks a Senior 2D Artist for its ICC studio. You will craft concept art and character designs across AAA titles, embracing AI-assisted ideation, 3D tooling, and a fluid 2D-3D workflow to accelerate progress.

You will mentor peers, collaborate with the Head of Art and ICC leadership, and help elevate the craft of the team within a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional concept art or character art in Games, Film, or high-end Entertainment.
• An exceptional artistic eye for design, composition, colour, anatomy and storytelling fundamentals.
• Demonstrable strength in concept art and character design ideation, silhouette, expression and visual narrative.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI tools into a creative pipeline for ideation and production.
• Comfortable using 3D tools (Blender, ZBrush, Maya, Marmoset Toolbag) for blocking and presentation.
• Deep proficiency across the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Create premium marketing art and character pieces aligned with project vision.
• Lead visual development across characters, environments, and key art from ideation to polish.
• Define look, silhouette and personality of characters and storytelling to a world-class standard.
• Integrate AI tools to accelerate exploration while maintaining craft integrity.
• Move between 2D and 3D workflows to block, kitbash, light and pose concepts.
