Job summary

Velocity Trade seeks an experienced institutional FX professional to join our APAC team in Singapore. You will structure, price and execute FX transactions, manage relationships with banks, corporates and family offices, and collaborate with global desks to expand our FX and derivatives footprint.

Based in Singapore, you will contribute to a follow-the-sun trading approach, monitor risk, and deliver market insights and tailored hedging solutions to clients across Asia.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in institutional FX sales, trading or dealing, preferably with a bank, broker or liquidity provider.
• Demonstrated experience in structuring, pricing and executing FX Options and Structured Products, including Vanilla, Exotic, and Structured Options.
• Commercially minded with the ability to build client relationships and generate business.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, risk management and institutional client requirements.
• Actively manage and monitor real-time client positions, leverage, collateral & margin requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail.
• Fluency in Mandarin would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Price and execute client transactions across FX products including Spot, Forwards, Swaps and NDFs and Options.
• Structure, price and execute FX options and structured hedging solutions, including Vanilla, Exotic and Structured Options.
• Primary, direct front office touchpoint for institutional, corporate and global family office clients.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, providing market insights, execution support and product expertise.
• Develop new business opportunities across Asia and contribute to the growth of the Group's FX and derivatives franchise.
• Work closely with global trading desks, liquidity providers and internal teams to support trading and client servicing activities.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
