Job description

Are you looking for a fulfilling job that provides opportunities for you to make a real difference to the community and youth through meaningful work? Are you looking for a place of work that promotes a culture of growth and development, while having fun?

We are looking for a Senior Fundraising Executive to join our growing full-time team.

At Halogen (Singapore), our goal is to help young people develop positive belief systems and values so that they can take action in their circles of influence. As an end-to-end youth development hub, we aim to build foundational character, mindsets, and skill sets in young people by providing equal accessibility to leadership programmes and initiatives. This same experience is created for our staff as well. As a youth development organisation, we work with the youthful vibrancy of our stakeholders and students, ensuring that while we seek to catalyse social impact through our young people, we also do the personal good of building a staff team that is enabled to do their best work.

Responsibilities
  • Execute the tactical rollout of fundraising initiatives, including digital crowdfunding (Giving.sg), direct mail appeals, and seasonal giving campaigns.
  • Coordinate the logistics for fundraising events, managing guest lists, invitations, and on-site donor hospitality.
  • Work with the Communications team to draft compelling donor-centric content, such as newsletters and “Impact Snapshots.”
  • Act as the primary point of contact for mid-level donors and corporate partners, ensuring timely and personalized communication.
  • Manage the donor database (CRM) with precision, ensuring all records are up-to-date, segmented correctly, and PDPA compliant.
  • Conduct research on potential corporate partners and foundations to provide “briefing notes” for the Fundraising Manager or CEO.
  • Support the drafting of grant applications and corporate partnership proposals, ensuring all required documentation and data are included.
A typical week at work involves
  • Driving digital fundraising campaigns across platforms like Giving.sg — monitoring performance, optimising messaging, and improving conversion
  • Coordinating fundraising events and donor engagements — from pre-event outreach to on-the-ground execution and post-event follow-ups
  • Identifying and researching new fundraising opportunities — including corporate partnerships, grant prospects, and campaign angles
  • Supporting proposal and grant writing — working closely with internal teams to translate programme impact into compelling cases for support
  • Reviewing campaign performance and donor insights — using data to refine strategies and improve future fundraising efforts
What you will achieve

By the end of the first month,

  • You will have a strong understanding of Halogen’s programmes, fundraising channels, and donor ecosystem
  • You will be familiar with our current campaigns, CRM systems, and donor communication flows
  • You will have begun supporting active fundraising initiatives and internal coordination across teams

By the end of your sixth month,

  • You will be independently managing key fundraising campaigns and donor touchpoints
  • You will have contributed to improving campaign performance — whether through messaging, targeting, or channel optimisation
  • You will have built working relationships with donors, partners, and internal stakeholders, becoming a reliable point of contact

By the end of your first year,

  • You will be driving fundraising initiatives end-to-end — from concept to execution and reporting
  • You will be identifying new opportunities for growth across digital fundraising, partnerships, and donor engagement
  • You will play a key role in strengthening Halogen’s fundraising engine — contributing to both strategy and execution
What you will get
  • A competitive package that includes healthcare, welfare, insurance, and travel allowances.
  • Annual leave of 14 days, and utility of flexi-work and telecommuting schemes.
  • You will have the opportunity to make a substantial impact on the youth development scene in the region.
  • You’ll gain first-hand experience in expanding an organisation’s scope to work, to further our outreach to impact youths in Singapore, and in the region.
  • You will interface regularly with the senior management team, and other managers as you work with each department on their day-to-day.
  • There will be regular 1:1 sessions that explore your work, discuss your future options, and open up new opportunities for your career and development.
  • You will have a chance to explore other competencies such as training & development, event management, and impact measurement.
Requirements
  • 3 years of fundraising experience with a digital edge
  • 3-5 years of experience in a digital marketing role, events management or fundraising function or other relevant fields.
  • Strong understanding of both online and physical communities to forge impactful partnerships.
  • Passionate in youth development and our agency as people who can build a future for Singapore and the region, putting people above all else.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills across various levels of stakeholders
  • Meticulous and detailed oriented, being able to engage with multiple processes and deliver excellence in each of them.
  • Excellent team player, and enjoy working in a dynamic, energetic work environment
  • Enjoy a fast-paced working and learning environment, able to handle stressful situations.
  • Strategic and data-driven in decision making.
