Job summary

HALOGEN FOUNDATION (SINGAPORE) seeks an motivated individual to implement and manage our entrepreneurship and mentorship programmes directly, elevating training quality to align with Halogen’s objectives.

The role involves leading training workshops, building relationships with schools, volunteers and partners, and developing internal capabilities to become an in-house expert in programme delivery within our Academy. This is a hands-on opportunity in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Interest in developing and facilitating youth programmes.
• Track record in youth work.
• Experience in training and development or coaching is a plus.
• Calm and stable under stress.
• Strong communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage entrepreneurship and mentorship programmes directly.
• Lead and facilitate training workshops and learning sessions.
• Build strong relationships with key programme stakeholders, volunteers and partners.
• Develop capabilities within the Academy Operations team to become an in-house expert in programme delivery.
• Manage schools and partners to ensure excellent programmes are delivered based on agreed expectations.
• Facilitate quality youth development programmes in schools and organisations in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Constantly look at how to enhance our Academy strategy to ensure a higher standard of training quality and delivery that adhere to Halogen’s organisational objectives.

• Lead and facilitatetrainingworkshops/ learning sessions,helping youth and youth influencers we work with build character, mindsets and skill sets

• Driveexcellence,specialisingin optimising experience of youth in our programme, whilemaintainingawareness of factors that affect the quality of programmes

• Buildstrongrelationshipswithkeyprogrammestakeholders,corporate volunteersandpartners,ensuringaqualityexperiencewhileworkingwithHalogen

• DevelopcapabilitieswithintheAcademyOperationsteam,tobecomeanin-houseexpertinprogrammedelivery

• Managingschoolsandpartnersthatweworkwith,toensurewedeliver excellentprogrammesbasedonagreedexpectations

• Facilitating and executing quality youth development programmes in schoolsandinorganisationsaroundSingapore

• WorkingalongsideteamswithinHalogen,tobuildstrongrelationshipswith variousstakeholdersthatweworkwith

• Curatingandbrainstormingprocessestostreamlinehowwerunour programmes,whilestillcateringtoawidevarietyofaudiences

WhatYou’llAchieve

Bytheendofyourfirstmonth,

• Youwouldhaveagoodunderstandingoftheins-and-outsofthecharityorganisation,socialservicesector,andthetraining&development programmesthatwedeliver

• Youwouldhaveestablishedabasicunderstandingandrelationshipwithstaffteammembersandtheirrespectivejobscopesandroles

• Youwouldhaveaclearviewofwhatyouwouldliketoachievefortheorganisationintheshort-andlong-term

Bytheendofyoursixthmonth,

• YouwouldbeoneofthekeytrainersabletoleadallofHalogen’strainingprogrammestoahighdegreeofexpertise.

• Youwouldbeabletotakeontherolesasaprogrammemanager and/or lead trainer, managing key stakeholder involved in the programme you areworkingon.

• You would have built strong foundations for cross-department collaboration, learning the working styles of each staff member in the Academy function, and having them know yours.

• Youwouldbean exemplary programme specialist, being able to deliver the programmes effectively, while having an in-depth understanding of our entrepreneurship and mentoring programmes.
