Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, build and modernise high-impact products from concept to production. Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience leading technical projects, architecture decisions or mentoring.
• Full-stack development experience with modern frontend and backend tech.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript knowledge and Vue 3 experience.
• Backend with Node.js, AWS CDK and DynamoDB experience.
• SQL database design, indexing and query optimization knowledge.
• Serverless, event-driven architecture understanding.
• Experience with AWS services (SQS, SNS, Event Bridge, Step Functions, IAM, CloudWatch).
• REST APIs, authentication and authorization knowledge.
• CI/CD, automated testing and production deployments.
• Ability to communicate trade-offs and guide engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver high-impact products and features from concept to production.
• Modernise and strengthen existing applications for performance and reliability.
• Build frontend applications using Vue 3 and TypeScript.
• Develop backend services and APIs using AWS serverless technologies.
• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure with AWS CDK.
• Design scalable data models using DynamoDB and SQL databases.
• Define technical standards, development practices and architecture principles.
• Raise engineering quality through code reviews, guidance and mentoring.
• Improve system reliability, security, monitoring and performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Partner with business stakeholders to turn operational needs into scalable tech solutions.
