Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, build and modernise high-impact products from concept to production. You’ll implement frontend Vue 3 components with TypeScript and develop backend services using AWS serverless tech, while shaping cloud infrastructure with CDK and scalable data models for DynamoDB and SQL databases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience leading technical projects, architecture decisions or mentoring.
• Full-stack development experience with modern frontend and backend tech.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript knowledge and Vue 3 experience.
• Backend with Node.js, AWS CDK and DynamoDB experience.
• SQL database design, indexing and query optimization knowledge.
• Serverless, event-driven architecture understanding.
• Experience with AWS services (SQS, SNS, Event Bridge, Step Functions, IAM, CloudWatch).
• REST APIs, authentication and authorization knowledge.
• CI/CD, automated testing and production deployments.
• Ability to communicate trade-offs and guide engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical projects, making architectural decisions or mentoring engineers.
• Experience in full-stack software development.
• Advanced knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Experience with Vue 3 or another modern frontend framework such as React or Angular, with the ability to become productive in Vue 3.
• Experience building backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Hands-on production experience with AWS CDK.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway and DynamoDB.
• Experience designing and working with SQL databases.
• Good understanding of relational data modelling, indexing, joins, transactions and query optimization.
• Good understanding of serverless and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with AWS services such as SQS, SNS, Event Bridge, Step Functions, IAM and CloudWatch.
• nderstanding of REST APIs, authentication and authorisation.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing and production deployments.
• Ability to make sound architectural decisions and clearly communicate technical trade-offs.
• Experience reviewing code and guiding other engineers.

• Hands-on experience with Vue 3 and the Composition API.
