Job summary

NexBridge Recruitment Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced full stack developer to lead end-to-end projects from frontend to backend, leveraging React and TypeScript. You will design scalable APIs, relational databases, and deploy on AWS/Azure, while mentoring juniors and guiding architecture decisions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product, design, QA, and DevOps teams, and requires strong problem-solving, ownership, and experience with AI-assisted coding tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of full stack development; 6–8 years preferred.
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Extensive backend development with Node.js, Express.js, NestJS.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and scalable design.
• Experience designing and optimizing relational databases.
• Hands-on with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience implementing CI/CD and containerisation (Docker).
• Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and independent ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of full stack applications, from frontend interfaces to backend services.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and maintainable web applications using modern technologies.
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain secure, high-performance RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Design, optimise, and manage relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude Code) to enhance productivity and development workflows.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver quality software solutions.
• Mentor junior developers by providing technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices.
• Drive architectural decisions and ensure applications are scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable.
• Participate in system performance optimisation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of full stack software development experience (6-8 years preferred).
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Extensive backend development experience using Node.js, Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and scalable application development.
• Experience designing and managing relational databases, including schema design and performance optimisation.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and working with containerisation technologies such as Docker.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools in software development projects.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently with a high level of ownership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
• Exposure to Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments or projects within Government Agencies will be an advantage.
