Job summary

DBS is seeking an experienced AVP - Lead Frontend Engineer to drive UI architecture, component standardization, and performance across its global digital banking platform. You will lead a scalable design system, unify journeys across APAC regions, and ensure accessibility while optimizing page loads and brand consistency.

The role requires leadership in design governance, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong background in React/Angular, modern tooling, and TypeScript.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in UI design or frontend engineering.
• 5+ years leading large-scale design systems across multiple products/regions.
• 3+ years in a senior/leadership role.
• Experience with micro-frontend architectures (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead design system strategy and framework-agnostic UI components.
• Standardize journeys across APAC markets with unified codebase.
• Optimize UI performance and ensure sub-2-second loads.
