Job summary

SMBC Group in Singapore is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition professional to lead full recruitment cycles across the Bank and its subsidiaries. You will partner with HR, hiring managers and business units to define staffing needs, deliver timely hiring, and build strong candidate pipelines through diverse channels.

The role emphasizes process improvement, digitalisation of recruitment, and close collaboration with Learning & Development to assess candidates effectively.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field.
• 7–10 years in Talent Acquisition within banking or financial services.
• Experience hiring for front office functions is highly preferred.
• Proven track record delivering full recruitment cycles with business engagement.
• Strong communication, organization and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business units, HRBP and hiring managers to define staffing needs and best recruitment strategy.
• Perform full recruitment cycle across the Bank and subsidiaries including resourcing, interviewing and guiding selections.
• Execute day-to-day recruitment activities professionally within agreed timelines and standards.
• Identify and nurture a network of top talent through multiple channels to build pipelines.
• Collaborate with HR to contribute to the HR Value Chain on various projects.
• Lead recruitment initiatives including digitalisation and process streamlining.
• Develop candidate assessment strategies with the team and Learning & Development.
• Track and report all recruitment activities in a timely manner.
• Build strategic talent pipelines with market mapping and networking.
