Job summary

Venture Corporation invites a Senior Engineer, R&D (Firmware) to join its Singapore headquarters in Ang Mo Kio. You will design, develop, test and maintain embedded firmware for state-of-the-art life science products and precision motion controllers.

The role demands strong C/C++, RTOS experience, and knowledge of motor control and sensors, plus collaboration with hardware, mechanical and manufacturing teams across NPI and sustaining activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer/Mechatronics or related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in embedded C and C++ with RTOS experience.
• Experience with microcontrollers, interrupts, timers, DMA, and real-time systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware assets.
• Develop device drivers, BSPs, bootloaders, and RTOS modules.
• Implement real-time functions for servo control, multi-axis motion, sequencing, and safety interlocks.
• Integrate motion-related devices and sensors (encoders, motor drivers, current/position sensors).
• Optimize firmware for deterministic timing, low latency, accuracy, and memory usage.
• Board bring-up, hardware/firmware integration, debugging with analysis tools.
• Define interfaces and robust firmware components for complex electromechanical systems.
• Produce firmware requirements, architecture, design specs, test plans and traceability.
