Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Singapore is expanding its Center of Excellence to develop firmware and software for manufacturing test products. You will work in an AGILE team to turn innovative ideas into robust software, solving complex design and implementation problems.

The role emphasizes C/C++ development, RTOS familiarity, and collaboration with system experts across R&D and other functions, with opportunities to apply modern software engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/PhD in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in R&D or product development as software/firmware engineer.
• Strong understanding of software methodologies and best practices.
• Hands-on C/C++ programming and real-time embedded systems knowledge.
• Experience with version control and design reviews is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams (R&D, marketing, order fulfilment) to design and implement firmware/software.
• Design and develop firmware and software for Keysight's Manufacturing Test products.
• Evaluate, design, and develop measurement software with system experts.
• Own subsystems and extend current software/firmware with new features or performance improvements.
• Design and perform software/firmware testing (unit and integration testing).
• Participate in technical reviews to identify problems early in development.
• Create detailed technical design documentation.
