Job summary

Our client, a multinational in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer in Singapore. You will develop firmware for embedded control systems, participate in product planning, and support prototyping and production testing.

You will work closely with hardware and manufacturing teams to ensure high-quality software, perform system integration, and contribute to product cost optimisations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 5+ years in firmware development or embedded systems.
• Experience with embedded C/C++ and firmware testing.

Responsibilities

• Participate in product planning and design discussions with cross-functional teams.
• Develop, test, and maintain embedded software for electronic control systems.
• Support firmware verification, system integration, and product performance testing.
• Develop automated test programs and support prototype evaluation and production trials.
• Troubleshoot firmware, hardware interfaces, and communication issues.
• Collaborate with hardware and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues.
