Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a firmware engineer to develop and test firmware subsystems for SSD products. You will contribute to quality assurance by building unit and functional tests and will apply AI-enabled tooling to improve efficiency and reliability.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronic or Computer Engineering, strong C programming skills, embedded systems experience, and familiarity with storage interfaces such as PCIE/NVMe. NAND experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with firmware/embedded programming (C) and debugging.
• Experience with storage interfaces (PCIE/NVMe) is a plus.
• Experience with NAND is an advantage.
• 2 years of equivalent experience in the embedded systems development field is an advantage.
• Proficiency in C, Python and assembly basics.
