Job summary

HTX is hiring to regulate fire safety standards in buildings and oversee Fire Certificate processing, testing, and maintenance compliance. The role involves site inspections, reviewing codes, and providing consultations to the building industry to ensure safe and compliant fire safety systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma, preferably degree, in Architecture, Engineering, Science or Estate/Facilities management.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• To possess good verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in regulating fire safety standards in buildings in accordance with the Fire Safety Act and Regulations
• Attend and respond to industry consultations pertaining to inspection matters, requirements of fire code, ERP, FSM and CERT schemes
• Analyse and follow up to devise RPA tools for tracking renewals and FC data
• Audit plans submitted by Qualified Persons and conduct site inspections on fire safety systems
• Investigate fire safety related complaints and feedback cases
