Job summary

CTCI Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented professional to supervise the installation and testing of active fire protection systems at site. You will coordinate with MEP services and review drawings, calculations, and method statements to ensure compliance with Singapore Fire Code and SCDF standards.

The role requires diploma-level qualification and at least 3 years of relevant EPC construction experience, with bilingual English/Mandarin a plus for site communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Safety, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is advantageous for liaising with inspectors and on-site workers.
• Experience overseeing fire protection piping, pumps, and clean agent systems on site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation and testing of active fire protection and firefighting systems.
• Coordinate installation of sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, pumps, and storage tanks.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, cleanroom, and other MEP services.
• Review fire protection drawings, hydraulic calculations, schematics, and method statements.
• Monitor pipe grooving, threading, welding, and sprinkler head placements.
• Coordinate hydrostatic tests, flushing, and pre-commissioning of systems.
• Coordinate witness inspections with RI, QP, consultants, and SCDF approvals.
• Coordinate interlock testing with Fire Alarm, HVAC smoke extract, and electrical systems.
• Monitor defects and outstanding works to completion.
