Job summary

Straits Developments Private Limited is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager/Manager to support financial reporting, budgeting, and finance operations across the Group. You will ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and regulatory compliance while backing corporate initiatives and improvement projects.

The role requires hands-on accounting expertise, with collaboration across auditors, tax advisors, and business units in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting/finance required; professional qualification preferred.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a group or listed company.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, audited financial statements, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting with variance analysis.
• Support monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules for Group Finance.
• Prepare audited financial statements and assist auditors; manage tax and regulatory filings.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and business units; drive process improvements.
