Job summary

Public Service Division is seeking a diligent accounting professional to manage project code creation, budgeting, and timely financial reporting. The role includes preparing statements, journals, and payment documentation, with emphasis on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will also conduct annual stocktakes and support broader operational and financial processes, contributing to efficient governance within the division. A hybrid work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have accounting/financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience with journal preparation and period-end closing.
• Budgeting and project-code administration experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Meticulous with attention to detail and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage project codes and budgeting.
• Prepare financial statements for month-, quarter-, and year-end.
• Prepare and process journals including grant drawdown and internal charges.
• Process payment documentation for NETS machine charges.
• Conduct annual stocktakes to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Support other operational and financial processes.
