Job summary

Skills and Workforce Development Agency is seeking a Finance professional to join the Corporate Services Division within the Finance function. The role will focus on financial operations, including AP, fixed assets, AR, and supporting audits and data migrations during system transitions.

The candidate should have 5+ years in financial operations, be proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint, and be able to liaise with multiple divisions while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Financial Operations and Accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and accounting principles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including monitoring and reconciling grant disbursements, reviewing expense reports, supplier invoices, and journal entries.
• Perform Fixed Asset functions, including asset management (additions, disposals, updates), reconciliation and tagging/sightings.
• Support Accounts Receivable (AR) functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Assist in audits by compiling audit requests and reviewing supporting documents.
• Assist in data and file migration validation to ensure accuracy during system transitions.
• Act as a liaison between Finance and other divisions to follow up on and resolve outstanding items.
• Provide support to the team on ad-hoc administrative or operational duties.
