Job summary

SingHealth Polyclinics is seeking an experienced finance professional to support the organisation's financial management across accounting, budgeting, forecasting and governance. You will deliver timely financial information, partner with business units and lead process improvements within Finance.

The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, stakeholder management and the ability to develop others in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification recognised by ISCA.
• 6–8 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, depending on seniority.
• Supervisory experience required for Manager and above roles.
• Experience in Big 4 audit or healthcare industry is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, budgeting and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to provide business insights.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP and financial modelling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and/or support monthly closing, reporting and analysis.
• Prepare and review management reports, financial statements and audit schedules.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis with insights.
• Perform costing and profitability analysis to support decisions.
• Provide financial advice to business units and departments.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting.
• Participate in system enhancements and process improvements.
• Prepare financial presentations for management and stakeholders.
• Guide and develop team members where applicable.
