About the Role
- Assist in day-to-day financial operations, including monitoring of monthly P&L entries to ensure timely recording and accurate month end closing across multiple IFM accounts
- Assist in establishing strong finance/accounting related processes and continuous improvements to existing processes to ensure compliance with contract requirements, local FRS, US GAAP (revenue and cost recognition) standards and SOX controls
- Prepare monthly management reports, including overall P&L analysis and provide commentaries to account managers and FP&A team on key variances
- Partner to account managers and business stakeholders to provide financial insights, flag areas of concern and give recommendations to achieve financial targets
- Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts for assigned portfolio
- Oversee accounts receivable position to ensure prompt billing and payment of invoices, address billing and collection discrepancies to support healthy company cash flow
- Deliberate automation, digitalisation and standardisation agenda, with clear targets to eliminate manual work, reduce spreadsheet dependency, standardise recurring processes, automate reporting and reconciliations where possible, simplify handoffs and ensure the BU and internal team consistently uses approved systems and common templates
- Lead change adoption across the Operations Finance function and business stakeholders by embedding new ways of working, managing resistance, driving consistent use of systems and standard processes, and building a sustainable team structure that reduces key-person dependency and ensures continuity of service
- Support Corporate Finance team for all finance related matters
- Perform any related duties or ad hoc projects as required
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- More than 2 years of relevant experience in Finance Operations or Business Finance
- Detail-oriented with the ability to understand key requirement across various contracts, engage with multiple stakeholders and manage deadlines of financial deliverables
- Demonstrated experience and passion for driving automation and digitalisation across Finance and cross-functional teams, with a track record of reducing manual processes and standardising processes and controls
- Strong proficiency in Excel, excellent written and verbal communication skills
