Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to manage a full set of accounts, including month-end and financial reporting. You will prepare and post GL entries, monitor budgets, and ensure compliance with company policies.

The role requires a degree in accountancy, strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team. Prior AS400 JDA experience is preferred. The team offers a dynamic environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.

• Prior working experience with AS400 JDA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including month schedules and financial/management reporting.
• Prepare and maintain GL entries (accruals, reversal of prepayments etc).
• Create and maintain report formats in accounting system.
• Perform timely month-end and year-end closings.
• Perform analytical reviews.
• Check AP invoice postings to GL and overseas payments to vendors/agents.
• Prepare weekly cashflow report.
• Monitor project expenses and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Prepare information required for corporate tax filing.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned by Finance Manager/GM.

Job description

• Full sent of accounts including month schedules and financial/management reporting;
• Prepare and maintain GL entries (accrual of expenses, reversal of prepayment etc);
• Create and maintain report format in accounting system;
• Perform and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing;
• Perform analytical review;
• Check AP invoice posting to GL, overseas payment to vendors and technical agent payment;
• Prepare weekly cashflow report;
• Check Purchase Requisition Form to ensure expense is within budget;
• Check and maintain project code (Advertising and Promotion events) in system and monitor project expenses;
• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and company's policies and procedures;
• Support internal and external audit;
• Prepare information required for corporate tax filing;
• Ad hoc duties as assigned by Finance Manager/ General Manager.

Job Requirements

• Possess at least Degree in Accountancy or equivalent accounting qualification;
• Proficient in MS Excel and other MS office applications;
• Good organizational and communication skills;
• Meticulous, hands-on and good team player;
• Prior working experiene with AS400 JDA preferred but not a prerequisite.
