Job summary

Tasek Academy and Social Services Limited in Singapore invites a Reporting Officer to join our finance team. You will manage full sets of accounts, support grant reporting, and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Ideal candidates have ACCA/CA or a diploma in accountancy with 2–3 years of charity accounting experience, plus proficiency in MS Office and Xero. You will collaborate with programme teams and assist audits and budgeting processes.

Qualifications

• ACCA/CA/Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of financial accounting experience in charity accounting.
• Proficient in MS Office and Xero.
• Good writing skills for case management and reporting purposes.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Open to working irregular hours to cater to programme needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Fixed Assets Register.
• Provide accounting assistance to programmes and support staff, responding to financial questions to meet organisational needs.
• Perform month-end and year-end close; ensure accuracy of management accounts and financial statements.
• Prepare and submit ad hoc financial reports as required; support annual budget exercise and midyear review.
• Assist with grant management, reporting timelines and coordination with programme teams.
• Assist with internal/special/statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting standards.
• Support office administration work when required.
