Qualifications

• Degree in Product Development, Fashion Design, Merchandising or related fields.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in fashion product development.
• Strong knowledge of product development processes, materials, costing, quality standards and supplier management.
• Experience in using and maintaining PLM systems, including product data, specifications and development milestones.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret product performance, consumer insights and market trends.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent project management and organisational abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle.
• Ensure accurate product information and development tracking within the PLM system.
• Partner with all relevant teams to translate creative concepts into commercially viable products, ensuring feasibility, cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Negotiate costs and timelines while maintaining high quality and sustainability standards.
• Manage development timelines, approval processes and PLM data accuracy to meet deadlines without compromising design integrity or margin goals.
• Analyse performance, consumer insights and competitor activity to guide product development decisions.
