Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices in Singapore is seeking a Returns Debug and RMA specialist within Quality & Reliability. You will analyse customer returns, perform board-level debug and collaborate with Device Analysis and Product Engineering to isolate fault causes.

The role requires strong communication, proactive teamwork, and the ability to drive improvements in product quality through rigorous failure analysis and test coverage enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong debugging of complex systems and failure analysis experience.
• Experience with digital/analog failure analysis; PCIe/USB knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis and report writing on customer returns electrical FA, including ATE and SLT analysis.
• Duplicate customer reported failures at the platform level and perform board-level debugging.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Device Analysis and Product Engineering for fault isolation and root-cause investigations.
• Identify test coverage improvements to strengthen product quality and reliability.
• Provide technical direction and translate findings into actionable improvements across functions.
• Coordinate final analysis reports for customer communication with stakeholders.
