Job summary

AMD Singapore is seeking an experienced engineer to drive returns debugging and failure analysis within Quality & Reliability. You will lead fault isolation, coordinate with Device Analysis and Product Engineering, and push for root-cause resolutions across teams.

The role requires strong debugging skills on silicon, experience with ATE/SLT, and the ability to translate findings into actionable quality improvements. You will mentor juniors and own test coverage enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical/Electronic or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong silicon debugging and failure analysis skills.
• Experience with board-level debugging and system-level test concepts.
• Knowledge of ATE test classes/methods and PC/server hardware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis and report writing on customer returns FA, including ATE/SLT data.
• Duplicate customer failures at platform level and perform board-level debug.
• Lead fault isolation and root-cause investigations with cross-functional teams.
• Identify test coverage enhancements to improve long-term reliability.
• Provide decisive analysis reports for customer communications.
