Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is hiring a Facilities Technician to manage daily site operations in Singapore. You will conduct inspections, monitor essential equipment, perform basic electrical and plumbing tasks, and ensure the premises stay neat, safe, and compliant with EHS standards. The role requires hands-on maintenance, vendor coordination, and support for on-site events, with an emphasis on reliability and quick issue resolution.

• Experience in facilities maintenance or building management.
• Ability to perform basic electrical and plumbing tasks.
• Will ingness to perform on-site duties and move/adjust furniture as needed.
• Attention to safety and equipment condition checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspection and assessment of facilities.
• Ensure premises are neat and in good working condition.
• Perform regular checks on essential equipment to ensure operational status.
• Conduct monthly joint EHS inspections with site staff.
• Provide onsite support for meetings, events, and room setup.
• Perform basic M&E equipment checks (CRAC/FCU) and maintenance.

Job Description:

1. To conduct daily site inspection and assessment of facilities to ensure all building procedures and performance measures are adhered to. Including daily reading of water and electrical meters.
2. To always ensure premises to be in neat and good working condition.
3. To perform regular checks to all essential equipment and ensure critical equipment to be in good operating condition.
4. To conduct monthly joint EHS inspection with site staff to ensure no workplace safety violations and noncompliance. Any anomalies must be rectified accordingly.
5. To maintain proper inventory of office keys and ensure all keys are in good order.
6. To perform daily ambient temperature checks and adjust accordingly to site requirement.
7. To provide escort for all vendors including delivery, maintenance, preventive and reactive services within premises.
8. To perform basic electrical work including power trip reset, minor rectification or replacement of power switches, light fittings and light tubes.
9. To perform basic plumbing work such as removal of chokes, attend to leakages, replacement of kitchen faucet, washroom bidet etc.
10. To perform basic M&E equipment (CRAC, FCU, WLDS, UPS) check and maintenance.
11. To ensure premises is in aesthetically good condition, touch up or rectify when necessary
12. To perform M.A.C (Move, Add and Change) of furniture and workspace when required.
13. To replace faulty lockset for pedestal, cabinets and cupboards
14. To ensure doors are in good working condition, conduct repair work including door hinges, stopper, lockset when needed.
15. To provide onsite meeting rooms, events, seasonal setup support, including but not limited to decoration, poster management.
16. To ensure proper inventory management for supplies and tools.
17. To attend to fault calls and emergency escalation.
18. To perform any ad-hoc duties when requested.
19. Able to perform troubleshooting of Facilities system ( Electrical, Mechanical or Process Systems)
20. To provide technical support to fellow colleagues.
