Job summary

NEA in Singapore's Choa Chu Kang Operations Department is seeking highly motivated individuals to support conservancy, facilities management, arborist and landscaping contracts at Choa Chu Kang Cemetery. You will work closely with a team, NEA departments, and various government agencies.

Responsibilities include managing contractors, overseeing maintenance of equipment, contract management, tracking progress, reporting, workplace safety, handling feedback from the public, and supporting

Qualifications

• Background in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
• At least 5 years in facilities management or operations leadership.
• Experience in contract management and leading a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, presentations).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willing to work in after-death care environment; able to work weekends/PHs.

Responsibilities

• Manage contractors and parties involved in facilities management to maintain standards.
• Oversee equipment and machinery maintenance for smooth operations.
• Coordinate with contractors and manage contracts to ensure compliance.
• Track work progression and ensure timely reports.
• Collaborate with agencies and stakeholders for related works.
• Approve POs and manage payments to contractors/vendors.
• Conduct regular WSH meetings and toolbox talks.
• Handle feedback from the public and stakeholders.
• Plan and participate in operations for annual events like Qing Ming/Lunar 7th Month.
• Review processes to improve productivity and service quality.
• Handle appeals/feedback from the public.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
