Senior Facilities Manager – M&E & ACMV Leader

Job summary

ENGIE Southeast Asia is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead a team overseeing the operation of assigned buildings in Singapore, with a strong focus on ACMV and M&E systems. The role requires independent work, excellent people skills, and a proven track record in large facility management.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, prepare reports, and coordinate with owners, consultants and contractors to meet safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognised university
• Minimum 10 years related working experience and at least 5 years in a managerial level
• Strong building, ACMV, M&E and FSM knowledge with hands-on experience
• Proven experience in facility management in a large facility
• Able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Pro-active, independent, able to work with minimal supervision and perform under pressure
• Service orientated mindset
• Strong leadership, quality, good planning and organizing ability
• The role will be based in Central South Area

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead a team in facilities management
• Manage and lead a team of engineers, technical officers, supervisors, technicians and contractors in facility management and operation of assigned buildings, with a strong focus on ACMV and M&E systems
• Establish good working relationships with clients and develop trust and confidence
• Establish and maintain quality service standards
• Coordinate and liaise with external agencies on new initiatives and major repairs and maintenance works
• Prepare tender documents and specifications
• Plan, coordinate and execute rectification works
• Responsible for project costing and control
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for submission to client
• Study, propose and implement feasible improvement works
• Prepare and responsible for annual budget submission
• Prepare and responsible for audit report
• Prepare assessment report for contractors' performance
• Prepare and certify contractors' payment
• Ensure staff and contractors follow the House Rules
• Provide feasible solution and coordinate with owners / users, consultants, vendors contractors on engineering functional requirements and ensure the objectives are achieved.
• Conduct regular inspection of all systems to ensure that all maintenance programmes are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.
• Ensure all works carried out safely and / or in accordance with safety procedures.
