Job summary

BUSINESS EDGE PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking a senior facilities leader to drive assets lifecycle management, ensure safety and compliance across multiple venues, and manage vendor relationships with external service providers for events and facilities operations.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, preventive maintenance programs, and budget stewardship to optimize performance, safety, and cost efficiency within a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Facilities Management, engineering or related field.
• At Least 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in managing multi-venue/facilities, preferably within events management industry.
• Ability to work independently and autonomously to define and implement solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate to achieve desired outcomes and build positive relationships.
• Knowledge of building systems and infrastructure management eg. building management systems (BMS), HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
• Familiarity with sustainability practices and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the tracking, planning, maintenance, and management of venue assets to ensure their optimal condition, performance, safety, and longevity.
• Develop and implement the Assets and Facilities Management Strategy and SOPs, and ensure alignment with Company's system architecture.
• Lead lifecycle planning of venue assets, including regular assessments, upgrades, acquisitions and replacements to maximize safety and operational efficiency.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of multiple properties, ensuring systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical function.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend asset lifespan.
• Analyze performance for areas of improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all facilities.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, developing mitigation strategies to address vulnerabilities.
• Maintain documentation and records related to safety inspections, incident reports and compliance activities.
• Manage vendor contracts, negotiate service agreements and monitor performance to uphold quality standards.
• Assess and select vendors for maintenance, repairs, and other outsourced services, ensuring alignment with NS Square needs.
• Foster strong relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
• Develop and oversee the facilities budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
• Develop and manage the annual facilities budget (eg. Total Cost of Ownership, including costs for maintenance, repairs, and capital improvements).
• Monitor expenditures and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive initiatives to improve energy efficiency and sustainability.
