Job summary

Valtech is seeking an Experience Design Lead to drive end-to-end design from problem framing to shipped experiences for enterprise clients across Asia. You will guide cross-functional teams, conduct user research, and champion accessible design across Web, Mobile, and connected experiences.

You bring 12+ years of experience, a growth mindset, and a drive to create lasting impact within a Digital Transformation Consultancy or Digital Agency environment.

Qualifications

• A portfolio of work with measurable client impact reflecting complex, scalable digital solutions.
• Proven accessibility and inclusive design practice (e.g. WCAG).
• Fluency in modern tools: Figma, Miro, prototyping; practical chops with AI design tools.
• Design Systems/DesignOps experience from governance to component quality.
• Great communicator with execs and teams; bias to action in ambiguous spaces.
• At least 3 years of experience in XD leadership roles.
• Well-versed in XD research tools (e.g. Maze, UserTesting).
• Good understanding of enterprise software solutions (Adobe, Sitecore, Salesforce).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design from problem framing to shipped experiences.
• Facilitate design thinking and collaboration workshops.
• Lead user research including interviews and surveys.
• Conduct competitor benchmarking and analysis.
• Create meaningful IA, customer journeys, and user flows with business goals.
• Champion inclusive design and accessibility (WCAG) in decisions.
• Turn insights into prototypes and tests with business objectives.
• Partner with Strategy, Product, Data and Engineering.
• Mentor juniors and lead by example in cross-cultural contexts.
• Support in pitches and occasional travel as needed.
