Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing and expanding the network of community partners, corporates, and other social and community services to support organisation mission. This includes spearheading, conceptualizing, and implementing volunteer programs and activities to ensure that high-quality services are delivered effectively.
  • Volunteer Management: Oversee all aspects of volunteering within the organization, including recruitment, orientation, and ongoing support for volunteers.
  • Partnership Development: Identify opportunities to sustain and strengthen existing partnerships, while also establishing new relationships with community organizations, corporate partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Volunteer Evaluation: Monitor, evaluate, and provide accreditation for volunteers, ensuring they meet necessary standards and contribute positively to the organization.
  • Database Management: Maintain accurate records of volunteers and community partners, ensuring timely submission of information and proper tracking for reporting purposes.
  • Activity and Program Planning: Design, organize, and execute volunteer-led activities and programs that address the social and emotional needs of nursing home residents.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with other departments to ensure that volunteer efforts are aligned with the overall goals of the organization. Provide support for any other related tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Degree or Advanced Diploma in Social Service related or equivalent
  • Candidate who have experience in community healthcare sector, volunteer management will be an added advantage
