Job summary

The Ministry of Education, Singapore (MOE) invites applications for a Senior Executive/Manager, Procurement Operations in the Finance and Procurement Division. You will support end-to-end procurement for MOE Schools and Headquarters and drive data-driven process improvements and automation.

Key duties include developing strategic sourcing and category management, leading tender exercises, establishing demand aggregation contracts, and providing guidance on procurement policies and templates.

Qualifications

• Relevant training and/ or experience in procurement work with exposure to strategic sourcing/ category management practices
• Familiarity with government procurement policies and processes would be an advantage
• An independent, proactive and resourceful team player
• Good analytical abilities, writing, communication and presentation skills

What The Role Is

As a Senior Executive/ Manager, Procurement Operations in the Finance and Procurement Division, you will be part of a dynamic team that serves as the centre of excellence for strategic sourcing and category management across MOE Schools and Headquarters. You will support end-to-end procurement processes and provide operational guidance to stakeholders. You will also contribute to operational efficiency improvements by generating insights from data and driving automation and optimisation of work processes.

What You Will Be Working On

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing and category-specific procurement strategies that respond to organisational needs and market conditions
• Manage and support tender exercises for MOE Schools and Headquarters
• Establish and administer MOE’s demand aggregation contracts for MOE Schools and Headquarters
