Job summary

Denka Advantech Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated HSSE professional to support the Head of HSSE in maintaining safety, health, security, and environmental compliance for the plant in Singapore. You will join the HSSE Committee, coordinate site inspections, and drive corrective actions following audits.

The role requires a strong grasp of WSH regulations, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, with a focus on data reporting and continual improvement across functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum WSH Level B certification is required.
• Certified as Confined Space Assessor and Work-at-Height Manager preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant WSH experience, preferably in a manufacturing plant environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Head of HSSE in managing workplace safety, health, security and environmental compliance for the plant
• Serve as a member of the HSSE Committee and coordinate/schedule site inspections
• Conduct regular workplace inspections to ensure safety procedures are properly implemented and adhered to
• Monitor, review and follow up on corrective and preventive actions arising from HSSE inspections and ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 audits
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with ISO management systems and statutory requirements
• Prepare and maintain HSSE data, reports and dashboards for monthly, quarterly and yearly submissions
• Conduct Safety Induction Training and other WSH-related in-house training for employees and contractors
• Review and implement Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures when required
• Liaise with statutory bodies, contractors and relevant stakeholders on WSH-related matters
• Promote a strong safety culture and support continual workplace improvement initiatives
• Update safety records in internal systems
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of HSSE

Job Requirements

• Minimum Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Level B certification
• Preferably certified as Confined Space Assessor and Work-at-Height Manager
• Minimum 5 years of relevant WSH experience, preferably in a manufacturing plant environment
• Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and applicable legal requirements
• Experience in ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 management systems
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated, independent and outcome-driven individual
• Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional departments
• Possess strong organizational and people management skills
