Job summary

HI-P SINGAPORE PTE. LTD is seeking an EHS & Security Leader to drive environmental health and safety programs in a manufacturing setting.

You will lead the development and implementation of initiatives, track targets, and liaise with government authorities to ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires MOM WSHO registration, knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, and strong communication to coordinate cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • OSH/EHS/Fire Safety or Security Diploma required.
  • Registered with MOM as WSHO.
  • Experience in safety program management in manufacturing preferred.
  • Familiar with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards and policy.
  • Security operations, investigations and maintenance of security systems knowledge preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player and able to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Engineering, Chemistry, Security and Workplace Safety.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, organize, develop, communicate and implement EHS & Security initiatives and programs per local requirements.
  • Track EHS, Fire Safety & Security objectives and targets.
  • Coordinate with government authorities on EHS, Fire Safety & Security matters.
  • Report on site activities to Corp EHS and Corp SAAC.
  • Evaluate and monitor risks of hazardous chemical processes and exposures; implement control methods.
  • Assess risks related to environmental noise and apply controls.
  • Ensure ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 objectives are met with QA closeout.
  • Advise on RA & EAI for regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate and organize site Emergency Response Drills.
  • Assist FSM in managing CERT and FA members.
  • Ensure ERP and EHS/Security policies remain compliant.
  • Contract management for outsourced security personnel.
  • Investigate security incidents and close gaps.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead, organize, develop, communicate and implement EHS & Security initiatives, activities and programs and comply with corporate and Local Legislative requirements.

  • Track EHS, Fire Safety & Security objectives and targets.

  • Liaise and coordinate with the necessary government authorities with regard to EHS, Fire Safety & Security related matters.

  • Report and update on site activities to Corp EHS and Corp SAAC.

  • Perform evaluation and monitor the risks associated with hazardous chemical process / handling and exposures while ensuring proper control methods are in place.

  • Perform evaluation, monitor, advise on the risks associated with environmental noise, and implement on control measures to mitigate on risk to noise exposure.

  • Ensure on Quality Management Systems – ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 objectives are met, and work with QA team to close on audit findings.

  • Assess and advice on RA & EAI to ensure compliance to local regulatory requirement.

  • Coordinate and organize site Company Emergency Response Drills.

  • Assist FSM on the management of CERT and FA members.

  • Ensure ERPs and EHS/Security policies remain relevant and compliant to local legal requirements.

  • Contract management on outsourced security personnel.

  • Investigate on security incidents and close on security gaps identified.

Job Requirement:

  • OSH, EHS, Fire Safety, or Security Diploma.

  • Must be registered with MOM as WSHO.

  • Relevant experience in safety program management in the manufacturing sector is preferred.

  • Familiar with, and good documentation skills of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards and policy is preferred.

  • Familiar with security operations, investigations, and maintenance of security systems is preferred.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good team player.

  • Familiar with MS office, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel.

  • Knowledge of Engineering, Chemistry, Security and Workplace Safety.
