Job summary

ITE seeks a Senior Executive to formulate, review and implement policies and processes in construction-related functional areas. You will be involved in Development Projects, including upgrading ITE's training facilities.

You will manage projects from inception to completion, formulate systems to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and coordinate with contractors to meet contractual obligations and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Credentials in M&E Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Building, Estates Management or related disciplines.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to handle contract administration including variations, EOT, and final accounts.
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience formulating tender documents or coordinating with consultants.

What the role is

As a Senior Executive in ITE, your challenge is to formulate, review and implement policies and processes in specific functional areas.

What you will be working on

You will be involved in the Development Projects including upgrading of ITE's training facilities. Your key responsibilities include the following:

• Implement upgrading of ITE's facilities including taking charge of the project from inception to completion;
• Formulate and implement systems and procedures to ensure that the projects are well-managed and in compliance with statutory requirements;
• Manage the contractors to ensure that the contractual obligations and deliverables are met.

What we are looking for

• Relevant credentials in M&E Engineering/Quantity Surveying/Building/Estates Management or other building-related disciplines;
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience;
• Ability to handle contract administration, including variations, Extension of Time (EOT), and final accounts;
• Possess good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferably with experience in formulating tender documents and/or coordinating with a team of consultants, including Structural Engineers, Architects, M&E Engineers, and Landscape Architects.
