Job summary

SMRT Trains Ltd in Singapore seeks a Contracts Management Senior/Executive to draft, review and manage contracts in line with our requirements. You will consolidate technical contracts across Lines, monitor performance and ensure compliance with SMRT Trains’ policies.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate technical contracts; create, prepare, review and edit contracts.
• Monitor contract validity and performance; prompt renewal actions.
• Review terms and conditions; ensure Standard Agreement Form is applied; seek legal advice if needed.
• Ensure compliance to SMRT Trains’ Policies and Procedures in contract execution.
• Perform any other tasks assigned.

Job Purpose

The Contracts Management Senior / Executive shall draft, prepare, review Contracts based on the Requirements in SMRT Trains.

The Contracts Management team serves to:

• a. Consolidate technical contracts shares across Lines.
• b. Monitor and report contract performance.
• c. Review contract terms and conditions.
• d. Ensure compliance to SMRT Trains’s Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities

The Contracts Management Executive reports to the Contracts Management Section Manager (NSEWL / CCL / BPLRT). His/her roles and responsibilities include the following areas:

• a. Consolidate technical contracts. Consolidate technical contracts that are shared across Lines. Create, prepare, review, and edit Contracts.
• b. Contract Validity and Performance Review. Prompt User on Contract renewal. Monitor and report contract performance. Provide justifications for any deviation.
• c. Contract terms and conditions. Review Contracts to ensure the Standard Agreement Form and template are applied. For any deviation, conduct review and verification if further Legal advise is required.
• d. Compliance to SMRT Trains’ Policies and Procedures. Ensure Contracts are executed in compliance to SMRT Trains’ Policies and Procedures.
• e. Any Other Tasks Assigned.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Degree in Science, Engineering, Finance, Business Management or related fields, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Business Management skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Familiar with Legal terms.
• Capable of professionally manage confidential information.
• Must be a team player and self-initiated.
• Meticulous and diligent.
