Nanyang Technological University (NTU) has launched the “Care, Serve, Learn” (CSL) initiative as a compulsory, credit-bearing course series for all undergraduates admitted from Academic Year 2025 onwards. Integrated into the Interdisciplinary Collaborative Core (ICC) curriculum, CSL bridges academic learning with meaningful community service, aiming to cultivate socially responsible, empathetic, and civically engaged graduates. Through structured training, hands‑on service with partner organizations, and individual and team‑based reflective learning, students develop vital skills such as active listening, advocacy, and project management. The initiative builds on NTU’s strong culture of volunteerism and reflects a broader educational vision that blends intellectual growth with real‑world impact. The new initiative will be managed by the new CSL office.
The role of the Senior Executive/Assistant Manager is to assist in the development, implementation, and administration of the CSL course series. The role requires close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of the CSL initiative. The role also focuses on creative content ideation, design, video editing, and copywriting—helping the team produce fresh, engaging, and brand‑aligned materials for CSL’s digital platforms.
