Job summary

Manulife is recruiting for a sales advisory operations role based in Singapore. You will ensure regulatory compliance across MAS/LIA guidelines, act as SME for sales support, and partner with IT to drive system enhancements, UAT, and process improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years in life insurance operations, with strong analytical and communication skills. A hybrid work arrangement is offered, with opportunities to engage in training and reporting activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• 2–5 years of relevant life insurance experience, preferably in advisor operations or sales support.
• Experience supporting T&C frameworks or regulatory-driven processes.
• Exposure to MAS or LIA regulatory requirements in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of life insurance products and FAA investment products.
• Hands-on in system implementation or enhancements, including UAT.
• Proficient in MS Office; Power BI experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for inquiries related to sales support and process flows.
• Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to drive system enhancements, including defining scope, user stories, tests, and UAT.
• Review and maintain business rule guidelines for T&C operations.
• Provide BAU operational support for projects related to future working methods.
• Ensure clear, accurate, timely communication with agents on request status.
• Perform quality checks and audit sampling to ensure regulatory compliance; handle inquiries.
• Prepare, review, and present management reports and presentations.
• Organize training sessions, briefings, and workshops for the sales force.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and update sales advisory frameworks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including MAS and LIA guidelines, as well as internal policies.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for enquiries related to sales support and sales advisory process flows.
• Partner with IT and key stakeholders to drive system enhancements, including defining enhancement scope, preparing user stories, developing test plans, and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Review, implement, and maintain business rule guidelines related to T&C operations on a regular basis.
• Provide operational support for business-as-usual (BAU) activities and assigned projects related to future ways of working.
• Ensure clear, accurate, and timely communication with agents regarding the status and progress of their requests.
• Perform quality checks and audit sampling to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements; manage audit and regulatory enquiries within scope.
• Prepare, review, and present management reports, summaries, and presentation materials.
• Organize and conduct training sessions, briefings, and workshops for the sales force.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in the life insurance industry, preferably within advisor operations or sales support.
• Experience supporting T&C frameworks or regulatory-driven operational processes.
• Exposure to MAS or LIA regulatory requirements within the financial services industry.
• Strong working knowledge of life insurance products, FAA investment products, and sales advisory processes.
• Hands‑on involvement in system implementation or enhancement initiatives, including UAT.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint; Power BI experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills.
