Job summary

Kerry Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Manager of Estimating Engineering Projects to lead regional cost estimation for advanced technology facilities, semiconductor, life sciences and data centres. You will oversee cost planning, tendering and benchmarking for large-scale projects.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in estimating, with at least 5 years in leadership, and proven ability to manage multidisciplinary estimates across civil, structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines.

Qualifications

Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related discipline.
12+ years of estimating experience, with at least 5 years in estimating management/leadership.
Experience in multidisciplinary estimates across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
Experience in advanced technology facilities, semiconductor manufacturing, life sciences or data centres, esp. projects > S$500 million.
Strong cost planning, benchmarking, value engineering and commercial risk assessment skills.
Proficiency in estimating software and advanced Excel.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Manage regional estimating activities, overseeing the preparation, review and delivery of comprehensive cost estimates across multidisciplinary engineering projects.
Develop estimating plans, coordinate resources, manage cost benchmarking, first-principles estimating, risk allowances and value engineering initiatives.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, project management and commercial teams to ensure accurate and competitive estimates through design and tendering lifecycle.
Lead commercial reviews, engage with clients and senior stakeholders, manage estimating changes and drive continuous improvement in estimating methodologies and cost intelligence.
