Job summary

A*STAR RESEARCH ENTITIES seeks a Senior/Lead Process Engineer to drive Si/SiGe/Ge epitaxy process development for next‑generation photonic devices. You will design innovative selective epitaxial processes on industrial CVD systems and work with the epitaxy team in Advanced Process Modules.

You will perform metrology, characterize epilayers, design experiments to control layer profiles, and contribute to publications and IP disclosures. Strong collaboration and data analysis skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or related field.
• 5+ years in semiconductor epitaxy process development or manufacturing.
• Solid knowledge of lithography, etching and material characterization techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement selective Si/SiGe/Ge epitaxial processes on CVD systems.
• Perform metrology and characterization of epitaxial layers (dopant, thickness, surface).
• Design experiments to control epitaxy layer profiles for photonic devices.
• Support integration and processing devices teams; prepare presentations and papers.
