Job summary

Sonatype is a software supply chain security company seeking a results-driven Enterprise Software Account Executive to lead direct sales in Japan-focused territories, including Japan, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines. This role emphasizes prospecting, closing, and expanding within a diverse customer base while working with a Sales Development Representative and Pre-Sales Engineer.

Qualifications

5+ years of quota-carrying sales in enterprise software.
Experience selling Agile, DevSecOps, or Open Source solutions.
Able to prospect and close net new logos and expand existing footprints.
Japanese language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

Develop and close opportunities for Nexus Repository, Firewall, Lifecycle, and Auditor suites.
Articulate value to increase regional footprint and net ACV.
Collaborate with internal teams to upsell/cross-sell within the customer base.
Generate leads through targeted account selling and outbound outreach.
Maintain accurate forecasting and Salesforce/Gong activity.
