Job summary

Singlife in Singapore seeks a Senior Engineer to analyze, design and develop web and mobile services. You will own REST API development with Java/Spring/Hibernate, build microservices, and ensure code quality and security in cloud environments.

You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver the components road map, drive performance improvements, and uphold architecture standards. Experience with AWS and containers is required; full-stack skills (React/Angular) are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of REST API services experience.
• Minimum 5 years of strong hands‑on experience with Java frameworks (J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Microservices).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in SQL or relevant query language.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with microservices framework and containers.
• Experience with AWS Cloud.
• Full stack experience is a plus (React/React Native or Angular).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

• Develop and ensure security, performance and non-functional requirements for solutions.
• Proactively propose innovative solutions or alternative approaches.
