Job summary

VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (VSMC) in Singapore seeks an experienced security professional to manage access control, visitor and contractor management, and ID operations within a manufacturing campus.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in security management, has 3–5 years in security or facilities, and will lead the on-site security team, maintain access systems, and manage the annual budget.

Qualifications

• Diploma in security management or related disciplines.
• 3–5 years of security or facilities experience (factory environment preferred).
• Experience leading and supervising a security team.
• Familiarity with access control/security systems.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and emergency-response skills.
• Ability to handle emergency situations and make quick, sound decisions.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or large industrial environment will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all site access control processes for personnel, vehicles, and goods.
• Oversee site parking management and enforce parking policies.
• Monitor and maintain access control systems, including permissions setup and system software management.
• Manage site door lock controls and ensure proper authorization protocols.
• Maintain and manage the card access record system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute special events or assignments.
• Lead, train, and supervise the on-site security team.
• Oversee daily patrol operations and PIP duty execution.
• Promote and implement PIP culture and initiatives within the security team.
• Execute and maintain the visitor management system, ensuring proper identification and authorization.
• Manage contractor/visitor access, compliance, and monitoring through the contractor management system.
• Ensure smooth coordination with internal departments regarding visitor or contractor needs.
• Oversee employee ID card production, issuance, and record maintenance.
• Manage employee security-related systems to support internal operational needs.
• Prepare and manage annual CAPEX and security budget.
• Monitor expenditures to ensure cost control and compliance with company policies.
