Gammon Construction Limited seeks a capable Civil/Structural Engineer to assist the Project Manager on onsite technical matters, coordination with design teams, and authority submissions. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership and close collaboration with construction personnel.

You will prepare shop drawings, method statements, progress claims, and project reports, and review C&S drawings to ensure compliance. The position offers growth within a safety- and quality-focused environment.

Formación

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board Singapore or Building and Construction Authority.
• At least 5 years’ experience in building engineering projects and structural works.
• Experience with Precast / PPVC / MET projects will have an added advantage.
• Completed QM project and a registered CoreTrade Foreman or Supervisor will have an added advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD and BIM.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Project Manager in onsite technical, engineering matters and authority submissions.
• Prepare submission of shop drawings, materials, method of statement, monthly progress claims and project management reports.
• Review C&S drawings & specifications in conjunction with authority & contract compliances to raise, manage, and close up RFI / RFA / CVI.
• Participate & review coordination of C&S matters with other disciplines such as architectural & M&E to ensure construction drawings, shopdrawings, fabrication drawings, and BIM Model are aligned without discrepancies.
• Lead in site coordination and execution relating to the construction project.
• Planning of micro scheduling with other trades & disciplines against master programme.
• Update structural / architectural / M&E progress with scheduling tools.
• Supervise and monitor projects are carried out in accordance to company’s operating procedures, quality standards and contractual specifications.
• Ensure supervisors & foremen meets clients’ regulatory work requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) checklist.
• Responsible for all inspection activities being carried out.
• Ensure environmental, safety and health practices are carried out at all times.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board Singapore or Building and Construction Authority

• Candidate with more experience will be considered for a senior role
• Experience with Precast / Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) / Mass Engineered Timber (MET) projects will have an added advantage
• Completed Quality Mark (QM) project and a registered CoreTrade Foremen or Supervisor will have an added advantage
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD and BIM
