SP Group in Singapore is seeking a self-motivated Civil Engineer to join our project management team. You will plan, design, and submit to authorities, and coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure quality and safety.

You will monitor budgets, schedules, and progress reports, ensuring on-time delivery within approved budgets, while upholding safety, ISO procedures, and the company’s standards. Candidates should hold a Civil Engineering degree and bring about 5 years of PM experience;

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university (PEB).
• Approximately 5 years of project management experience is preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Team player with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of BIM, AI and digital engineering solutions is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning, design and submissions to Authorities/Agencies for approvals.
• Assist in tender documentation, procurement, tender evaluations and contract/site administration.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow forecasts and monthly progress reports.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budgets, and to required quality standards.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure compliant M&E systems and building products.
• Enforce Workplace Safety & Health regulations and comply with ISO procedures.
• Provide feedback on defects and implementation challenges and suggest improvements.
• Maintain completed project records and documentation for retrieval.
• Provide technical advice on architectural, building and civil works to stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist internal stakeholders in planning, design and submission to relevant Authorities / Agencies for approval
• Assist in tender documentation, procurement activities, tender evaluations, and carry out contract and site administration.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow forecasts and prepare monthly progress reports.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within approved budgets, in compliance with applicable requirements, and to the specified quality standards.
• Work with appointed consultants and contractors to ensure that M&E systems, equipment and architectural building products supplied and installed are in accordance with approved specifications and meet the required standards of quality and workmanship.
• Ensure high standards of Workplace Safety & Health at sites and enforce the Company's Health, Safety and Environment regulations.
• Manage project works in accordance with the Company's Quality Management System and ISO operational procedures.
• Provide feedback to internal stakeholders on defects, shortcomings and implementation challenges encountered during project execution, and recommend improvement measures where appropriate.
• Collate and maintain completed project records and documentation for effective retrieval and future reference.
• Provide technical advice on architectural, building and civil works matters to internal stakeholders as required

What You’ll Need:

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university, recognised by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore (PEB)
• Preferably 5 years of experience in project management
• Good oral and written communication skills
• A team player with a positive working attitude and the ability to handle tight deadlines
• Knowledge and experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital engineering solutions for design coordination, project management and construction technology (e.g. robotics/automation) will be an advantage.
